No Rep Repair services, repairs and assembles Concept2 RowErg, BikeErg and SkiErg machines — for home gyms, boxes and commercial fitouts.
Concept2 ergs are built to last, but they run best with regular upkeep. Here is the manufacturer-recommended maintenance for each machine — and exactly what we take care of when we service yours.
The RowErg has the most moving parts of the three. The chain, shock cord and flywheel are where attention is needed most.
A teaspoon of mineral, 3-IN-ONE or 20W oil rubbed along the chain with a cloth, excess wiped off. Never WD-40 or solvents — they attract dust.
If the handle doesn’t return fully to the flywheel, the shock cord needs tensioning or replacement.
Look for stiff links and wear at the chain-to-handle U-bolt. Worn parts get replaced with genuine Concept2 components.
Dust inside the flywheel housing restricts airflow and changes resistance. We open, vacuum and clear it out.
A clean rail keeps the seat gliding smoothly and reduces friction and roller wear.
Leg bolts, footrest screws and the monitor arm joints all get checked and torqued correctly.
The BikeErg is the lowest-maintenance of the three — mostly cleaning and a few fastener checks keep it running for years.
Saddle, handlebars, step pad and flywheel cleaned with a cloth and mild cleaner. No bleach or coarse abrasives.
Dust buildup in the fan housing reduces resistance. We clear it so each effort feels consistent.
Pedals, seat post, handlebars and frame bolts checked for tightness and safe operation.
We inspect the drive system and monitor for any irregular feel, noise or resistance drop-off.
The SkiErg is all about the cords. Keeping them untwisted and inspected is the key to a long, smooth-pulling life.
Handles twist the cords over time, creating a lumpy pull and premature wear. We pull them out and run them straight again.
Three handle cords plus a bungee, checked along their full working length. Fuzzing in a localised spot means it’s time to replace.
Dust and lint in the enclosure restrict airflow. The cover comes off (four screws) for a proper clean-out.
Pulleys should spin and swing freely; assembly fasteners and wall mounts get checked for security.
Grips and straps cleaned with mild soap; surfaces with any non-abrasive household cleaner. Never spray fluid on the monitor.
Full maintenance to manufacturer spec — chain, cords, flywheel, rail and fasteners — so your machine runs like new.
Diagnosis and replacement of worn or broken parts using genuine Concept2 components. We get failing machines back in action.
New or relocated machines built correctly, checked and ready to use — whether it’s one erg or a full gym fitout.
